UZINOV based in Commercy in the heart of the Grand-Est has a technical platform of 460m2 equipped with industrial equipment oriented towards composite materials processes, high-speed 5-axis machining and metrology. Created in 2015, the UZINOV's initial objective was to meet the needs for training of Safran and Albany aspiring employees. Today, its activity has evolved and the center also offers companies, VSEs, SMEs and research players to rely on its machine park to develop and carry out their projects. The technical platform is oriented around two axes, the material and process axis and the prototyping and metrology axis. The materials and processes axis mainly allows the implementation of liquid-based thermosetting composite processes (contact lamination, infusion, RTM/VARTM injection), autoclave curing of high-performance composites (laminates, sandwich, hot-bonder repair), and structural bonding (multi-material). The prototyping and metrology axis relies on a dedicated computer room, a 5 axis high-speed Spinner U-620 machining center, a Raise 3D Pro 2 3D printer, an Absolute Arm and a CMM Global Silver DEA equipped with Hexagon measurement software. In addition, the technical platform has a complete pneumatic network allowing you to drill, screw, rivet, sand blast and sand efficiently. It also has 4 temperature-controlled rooms to perform reliable measurements and store the material under controlled conditions. Designed as a mini-company, the technical platform has a flexibility that will allow us to adapt to all your projects.
