Institut Lafayette is an international technological innovation center in Metz, France, which facilitates the commercialization of innovations in optoelectronics and microelectronics. Institute Lafayette is a non-profit association organized under the laws of France, for the purpose of research, innovations, economic development and entrepreneurship activities.

Institut Lafayette is a building that includes 11,000 square feet of clean rooms dedicated to the design, fabrication, testing, prototyping, and commercialization of GaN based semiconductor materials and devices for optoelectronics.  The building also houses laboratories and a cleanroom fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for the fabrication and characterization of optoelectronic devices.
