The Welding Institute, through its research & development, expertise and training activities, contribues to aerospace technological enhancement, by providing to the industry following services : 

  • Development of advanced welding technologies, like FSW, laser, laser hybrid, …. as well as numerical simulation of the welding processes;
  • A wide range of material testing : static, dynamic, fatigue……;
  • Non Destructive Testing (NDT), with a very large  number of techniques both on metallic and composite material and structures;
  • Expertise in welding assemblies;
  • Training and qualification in welding and inspection.
